Los Chorros Restaurant, nestled in Wheaton, MD, is a beloved Salvadoran eatery that has captured the hearts of many, as evidenced by the glowing reviews from loyal patrons. The emphasis on family and community is palpable, with Jessica A. expressing her affection for the warm, familial service she consistently receives. Diners rave about the Trios Enchiladas, which are generously portioned and bursting with flavor, accompanied by delightful sides of sour cream, guacamole, and pico de gallo. Natalie Svnchez sums it up perfectly with a simple but confident "10/10."
Another highlight that stands out is the wide variety of pupusas available, crafted to perfection and celebrated by Ambar Corvera. The restaurant maintains a peaceful ambiance, allowing for intimate family conversations, as Jose Landaverde mentions. The dedication of the staff is further illustrated by Michael Petro's account of their attentive service during a large family gathering.
While the interior may show signs of age, the vibrant murals welcoming guests are hard to miss, creating an inviting atmosphere. Ultimately, Los Chorros Restaurant marries tradition with heartfelt service, ensuring that every visit is a delightful culinary experience worth returning for.

Our family has been going to Los Chorros for years. The staff treat us like family and it is always wonderful to stop in. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience here. We went in on a Sunday for lunch and things were quiet. Our server was with us right away and checked in throughout the meal. He was polite and helpful. We got chips and salsa, both were fresh and tasty. I got the Trios Enchiladas, which is my favorite. Portions are huge, everything came out fast and hot, and everything tasted great. I love that I get a little side plate with sour cream, guac, and pico de gallo to go with the enchiladas. The rice was good as well. All three enchiladas were different and super tasty. After lunch I got the xango for dessert, it's like a deep fried puff full of cheesecake. It came with ice cream and a cherry. It was hot and fresh and really good. I also love their tres leches cake, it's always fresh and delicious. The interior is a bit dated and could use some upkeep, but the door isn't hard to find with its beautiful mural. I am looking forward to going back to Los Chorros with family for many years to come!

The food here is always so good and the staff so friendly. I love that they have different types of pupusas. My favorite are the chicken and cheese ones. My family has been coming to this place for years.

I like the atmosphere in the restaurant, music is quiet so I can have a good conversation with the family. Las pupusas are very good, and the coffee comes with free refills. Plenty parking and an easy access location.

We came in with a party of 40 after a funeral. The deceased and her family are long time patrons. The food was excellent and the care and attention given by the staff was superior. I have eaten here for the past 30 years and have always had 5 star experiences.

I’ve been coming to Los Chorros for over 25 years. It’s my go-to spot for excellent authentic Salvadoran food in Maryland. Family owned and operated. They have some of the best pupusas in all of the DMV.

Have dined in several times with family and friends, this spot is excellent! I have only ordered from the Salvadoran part of the menu - you cannot go wrong with anything there - but others have ordered from the Mexican dishes and been very happy too. LOTS of food for a good price; the wait staff and front of house is very friendly, very easy place to take kids, too. 20-30 per person (not including alcohol) and you will be full all day with leftovers.

My friend and I enjoyed lunch here. Fresh chips and a mild thin salsa were provided while we looked at menu and ordered. He found the Polito Burrito (see photo) tasty once he added a bit of hot sauce. The waitress brought me some maranon juice (see photo) to taste while finally translating it as cashew juice -- very slightly naturally sweet and flavorful but not tasting at all like the nut. The drink pared nicely with the jalapeno spiced chicken Quesadilla served with guacamole (see photo).
